So we saw some temples…
Buddhists, Shintoist, Buddhist with Shinto shrines, geisha too.
We must have walked 200 km in the Gion district, we do not feel our legs: they are now wood block.
Good news: about the weather, it improves. Xim and I removed two layers of fleece, and Lô at least one layer and the little scarf.
So it was a foray into the old quarter, traditional and full of temples and markets.
I’ll let Xim the story of the tour, with supporting photo of geishas.
We had the chance to attend a singing Buddhist pilgrims at the top of the highest temple (Lô even recorded a sound testimony).
We also spotted a Totoro Ghibli-shop where Xim threatened me take my wallet – we’ll go to the Ghibli Museum in a few days, so there is no need to hurry.
In the evening we visited the geisha district.
There are temples that we revisit the return because the parks will be even more beautiful with blooming cherry trees, if they will come …
