Here it is the first flower of the season.
After have strategically changed the orchids positioning, they all made flower stems since Christmas. The buds are slowly growing.
I think we can hear everything and its opposite, about growing orchids. I was told that we should not put them in direct light, while they were never happier than behind the window overlooking the south.
I mist them from time to time and soak every fortnight and they look happy. As long as no one reverses them…
Our optician has also offered the cuttings of his fantastic hibiscus, with large yellow flowers. One of the two cuttings has clearly taken; we expect April to decide the fate of the second, but it seems to dry out slowly. I despair a little about the coming back of flower on the hibiscus already in the apartment. I hesitate on the strategy: a larger pot or fertilizer. My mother, when I was little, had a wonderful hibiscus that grew like a weed and flourished throughout the year. I would like to find the same presence.
