Once done the full of yen and have been installed in the house, we start looking for a place to eat. Given the time we tried an easy place to walk to and that it is still open. Ghiro ghiro Hatsushina: this is the name of the small restaurant that gave us the first glimpse of traditional Kyoto cuisine. Also called kaiseki, is characterized by a multitude of dishes prepared with style. Fortunately the portions are not abundant otherwise would have been difficult to arrive at the end of the delicious dishes prepared before our eyes by our chef Japanese. The chef spends his time between Paris and Kyoto, and this allows us to chat pleasantly in French. The high rate of tourists makes us understand that the place is well-known, but not confuse this with a typical tourist trap. The food is really delicious and we spend a very pleasant evening before.
Our journey begins very well, perhaps too well. But for now I’m not complaining at all:-)
