The first night in our new home went well: no neighbors moving furniture, no loud Americans, no hysterical Chinese… We slept well and woke up by the sun we started day.
After a few minor cases, we are off to the bamboo forest, a train of only fifteen minutes.
It’s beautiful, bamboos are huge, the weather is just gorgeous (we removed several layers of clothing, it’s spring, it is waiting for the dammned cherry blossoms please to flourish…).
It’s nice, the cherry trees are almost ripe and Japan is invaded by tourists. We regret our near solitude two weeks ago.
After having lunch in a park, we are party to the tourists with our macha ice cream cone in Arashiyama (by joining the crowd of other tourists).
We then did a little shopping session before birthday sushi.
And on the return, finally …
