After the cabin bag, our attention moves to the suitcase.
It is an object that requires a great strategy, to be filled it with wonderful objects and curiosities and souvenirs to offer (to others or themselves).
To avoid the “syndrome of dirty laundry” when coming back, to travel light and leave plenty of space, we had the brilliant idea (well, it was a Xim’s idea) to rent houses with washing machine (and sometimes dryer) .
So in my case, I will put:
- underwear for 8 days;
- 5 t -shirts;
- 2 sweaters;
- 3 pants;
- 8 pairs of socks: because it will be probably necessary to have also indoor socks. And Lô and I have small feet, then we can take more socks than Xim, using the same weight;
- 1 pajamas;
- 1 towel: you never know, it should be there, but … I specify that it will be a micro-fiber towel, super thin and super absorbent;
- 1 pair of hiking boots for walking: it will save me to having to buy shoes in emergency, as happened in Denmark, the equation Doc + plane is not good at all;
- 1 pair of slippers, a must in Japan.
I wonder if I should take “nice” dress if we decide to go in a somewhat special place.
What I do forget, again?
I will post a special “toiletry”-article very soon.
