I think of ourselves as organized people, but sometimes we are rather rough, let’s say it: we did not announce a little more in advance our departure for Iceland (via London).
Tomorrow, at dawn, we will fly to London, where we will spend two days before leaving on Monday morning (before dawn) for Reykjavik.
Our project is to tour Iceland, by road no. 1, to see whales, puffins, glaciers, geysers and the aurora borealis. This is the end of the tourist season, the beginning of autumn and the moment when the night sky is draped with big green sails.
We have prepared for the “great cold” because the temperature will be very different from our latitudes, although the ocean temper the weather. For my part, I still took my ski jacket.
We propose you to follow our adventures in the country of the vikings, dried fish, Sigur Ros and the Eyjafjallajökull.
(the first picture, quite lamentable, is from me, and certainly not from Xim, which has accustomed us to much better).
